The feeling of being stuck and not being able to do anything is a painful state to live in. I searched for ‘feelings of being stuck’ on Twitter and Medium and, not to my surprise, 100s of results appeared.

So, if you too are feeling this, let’s delve into its causes and cure. Sometimes, all you require is an article that shows you the way out.

When our mind sometimes wanders into a period of retrospection and compares the past with the present state. It looks for what has changed for good and if it doesn’t find any strong evidence, the feeling of being stuck gets triggered.

So, we all are looking for something to start working on and bring into our life the positive changes and eventually an abundance we are seeking for.

What is the problem then?

Our problem is not finding anything that feels worthwhile to pursue, and even if found, the next obstacle is doubts swirling around the head about whether making it to another side of the venture is possible.

Even the people who have been working for years in their field, admit that they are working out their best guess possible. So how can we just starting out can expect ourselves to know everything?

We too can brainstorm a little and make our best-informed choice and start moving. We can then learn and optimize along the way. This is the only way.

Where can we get ideas that feel worthy enough to pursue?

You can start brainstorming and read a few materials like this post and you’ll for sure get the ideas. You ought to choose the one, on which the execution can be started as early as possible.

Even after much of brainstorming and reading, if you fail to choose an idea or skill that feels worthy to pursue then it’s your problem or procrastination. Thinking and analyzing is a great way to procrastinate execution.

If you stay sincere enough and worked your way till here the following points would come in handy further.

👉After starting out with something keep reminding yourself why you had started. After a few things start moving smoothly, your brain starts forgetting the hardships. And you may eventually drop the project.

👉 Put your scheduled hour of work every day irrespective of your motivation status and you’ll have some sense of progress in a due time, upon which you can reflect and have a sense of motivation for yourself to continue further.
